2003 2.2L ecotech oil filter

Hi, does anyone know what size of socket I need to take off the oil filter cap for a 2003 2.2L ecotech engine.

Also what is you best method for doing so?

Use a 6 point socket, size 11/16 or 32mm,I think that's what they are?

where is the filter, i cant find it at all, i have an 04 2.2.
