just replaced the starter!!!

hi guys..

l removed the starter and put the new one back.. l posted on toyota forum too and also here.. l just wanted u guys to see that l am working on cars anymore:lol: l really didnt know nothing untill l signed up here.. now l am working on cars.. this starter was under the engine and u cant see under the car. and l had to do above the car with my senses.

damn, it was quiet easy but l was almost gonna go crazy. l couldnt figure out how to reach bolts and remove them like an hour.. but finally l removed them.. my hands are big thats why l had a hard time to reach second bolt which is under the starter but result is perfect..

l replaced both side power window motors,
turn signal switches front
speakers
drivebelt
battery
radiator
on toyota starter

so far these and l would like to tune up my car but l am scared.. l tried to remove the water pump but l dont know how and l am scared..

Wow good job. I have yet to take on a big task like that, but don't have the space to do it anyways. I wouldn't fear taking out a water pump after taking out a starter. I think you should fear hooking it up properly though, as it is essential to a car cooling off.

Now working on that TA is a whole nother story. I think you are going to encounter issues with limited space.

Not really, water pump on a T/A or Formula is pretty basic...especially if youve done a radiator as he has. Just remember, there are 6 bolts holding that water pump in and bolts love to corrode in there so be careful not to snap any off removing them. Hardest part of the job is getting some of the accessories/brackets disconnected/moved to pull the pump.

Yeah, i've seen the water pump get removed, when I had a guy installing my cam. That radiator is a bitch to move though, without damaging anything. I didn't know it was the same design for the LT1, as it is for the LS1.

all the jobs that l did was on LT1. jjust the starter was on toyota.. also l tinted my toyota's windows.. no freaking bubbles at all.. as prefessional (by the way it was my first time)

l can remvove the water pump. l removed 5 bolts but the one between alternator and water pump was so far and l couldnt reach it.. l mean my tool didnt fit there to unscrew it.. believe me, if l replace my radiator again, l am sayin again at the most 45 mins, l am completey done!!!! window motors, it was my first time, driver side was my first time and it took me a little bit long to figure out how to do but pass. side was like half an hour!

tinting windows, 15 mins each window..

l enjoy working on cars but l need more knowledge...

starter was kinda pain in the ass but now l know how to do so no problem.. in half an hour l can remove and install new starter.. :D
