sure it can be done, and it'll cost way more than it's worth, but it's your money.

no you can't convert a hardtop to a convertible top. the convertible camaros are actually slightly longer than the hardtops. they also have a completely different rear/trunk section... it's a real trunk instead of a hatchback. this is not something that you can do without creating a frankenstein car.

Just buy a convertible.. and sell the parts that you already have.

How do Camero parts fit a Camaro? :dunno: Just curious.
As instantkevin eluded to, the rear end of the car is entirely different, a big portion of that obviously is for the top storage, but also sturctural support. You can take a 12 pack and a sawzall out there and have at it if you want, but first bump you hit things ain't gonna be too pretty.

yah it could be done, but that body it going to move as soon as you cut the topp off, your car will probaly buckel, just buy a conv, the money you out into the swap can get you a convertable

id like to see someone do it, you would have to almost cut of half a conv. and some how attach it to a hard top. panels are completly different. but ya it could be done ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, if you can weld two cars together

Look the thing we can all agree on is that it would be more of a hassle and cost more money that buying a new vert because of the obvious serious modification you're going to have to do.
