Maybe I'm picky or just an asshole but it's NOT UFOs. Un-identified Flying Object can be just about anything from a bird to sv650s. The topic should read "why haven't aliens and/or flying saucers came here."

To be even more picky or a bigger asshole than Muscletang I think the term Alien is also wrong given the fact that alien generaly means foreigner or someone Owing political allegiance to another country or government. I would rather use freinds from outer space, although that could be wrong if you are freinds with an astronaut.

Just because the word alien means something to you that is different to another person, that doesn't make them wrong.

Actually it should be " Why Haven't Spacefaring Intelligent Beings Ever Came here?" Since a spacefaring alien could be some insignificant organism.

Now that the title is correct I think the reason they haven't been here is because we don't know they've been here. Any Intelligent being who can travel light years to earth has certainly created some sort of cloaking device (star trek style of course) to hide them. Maybe they even have the memory erasers (MEN IN BLACK style) or possibly they are studying us while we are in a computer simulation? (Matrix Biatch!) They've definantley thought it out.

We hate eachother because of skin color and wars are because of different religions, they must be scared to hell of what we'd do to anyone from another planet.

i think back when we tested nukes, it blasted a gamma burst into space. Knowing that gamma rays come from super nova stars, the "Guys/aliens from another world in space" came to earth(1947 New Mexico) to investigate.
