I'm sure the F1 would spank the Bugattie on the Nurburgring. One would think 1000+hp would make it hard to handle, plus I'm sure the F1 is WAY lighter.

The McLaren F1 weighed about 2,513lbs, the Veyron weighs 4,162-4,300lbs (I've heard both and in between). I believe that the regular F1s had a suprisingly soft suspension, but was easily adjustable for track use.

They Veyron is by no means a track car and would likely lose to the likes of the McLaren F1, Ferrari Enzo, Koenigsegg CCR, Saleen S7 TT, etc on anything but a straight line and an oval.

The Veyron was built just to get 1,000hp and 250mph, both of which are pretty arbitrary milestones. Its power/weight ratio is pretty atricious for a supercar.

As you can see, I'm not a fan of the Veyron.

Who knows, maybe Bugatti will do something crazy and make a track version like McLaren did.
