Hi, there is a long time i have been out for car models.
so i get rid of those planes and miltary this time and back to car modeling~
I very fresh Fujimi kit it is as the molding is clearly enhenced a lot!
though, there are still some old problems. and first of all, right height.
i have adjusted both front and read suspension by about 2mm and it look like thi:
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060330_1.jpg
what i have done is simple. just mod on the suspension and lift it up by asheet opf plastic sheet.
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060330_2.jpg
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060330_3.jpg
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060330_4.jpg
and the result is liek this
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060330_5.jpg
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060330_6.jpg
the socong problem i hve notice is the dashboa and side oors... the dahboard is way toobi ad there i o roomto put the legs at al. so i cut the lower part a bit.
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060331_1.jpg
then i putty-ed the back of the seats
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060331_2.jpg
and scratch build the panels
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060331_3.jpg
and finally get some plastic sheets to replica a better door panal
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060331_4.jpg
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060331_5.jpg
and here is a completed door:
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060405_01.jpg
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060405_02.jpg
and the interior got painted right afterwards:
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060405_03.jpg
and it comes to the chassis:
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060405_04.jpg
and the suspension: i little wash is applied on the chassis and details things up a little
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060405_05.jpg
the front ride is lowered by about 1mm further:
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060405_06.jpg
and the seats are painted(but i doubt the grey tune should better be re-painted again...)
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060405_08.jpg
long been out for car, so i hope i still have the skill to handle it
welcome for any comments!
thank you!

thanks all~!!!
actually i tested the cocpit on the car body and find out...
the height of the door panel is wrong!!!!>.<
anyway i enjoyed the process....haha~~
here is the update:
Painting process:
grey primer> white primer> Gunze #4+#58 (in about 2:1)> Gunze #4
This is when I have the #4+ #58 mix:
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060407_3.jpg
Appearantly it is not the yellow that the real car does, too much orange yellow i have put in, so i have to fix the tune of the color.
and i have a few thin coat of #4 to covering up
http://panzer.hkbh.net/diary/20060407_5.jpg
after all, it ends up like this...>.< :(

Would love to know more about how-to. I am totally poor with scratch-building interior door panels. ToT
excellent job on the body paint, too. Heck of a shine! ^o^

ton394: i've had that problem with my nismo Z-Tune as well where the paint made orange peel, what i did was to lightly wet sand the paint using 600grit sandpaper and then work my way up to finer grits, stopped at 1000grit (or was it 1200?).
repeat if necessary.
do not use too much pressure so that you don't sand off the color down to the primer or worse, to the plastic underneath. :D

tnx dude, is it necessary to lay down a few coats or i just wet sand it without painting cause im running out of paint and proceed to polishing? or would a rubbing compound will remove the orange peel?

ton: try to do wet-sanding first, because if you just use rubbing compound all the way...you'll run out of it quickly. :D
once the surface is close to smooth, then you can move to polishing the body with the rubbing compound and wax.

If you want to make it stock, then you should remove the CF-decal from the diffuser. It really is just plastic, the rear bumper is just one piece and the diffuser is painted dark gray. Otherwise the model looks awesome!

Looks fantastic! never been a fan of the mesh that fujimi includes on their kits since i think its way out of scale, i tend to use the Tamiya fine mesh instead. I love the color, beautiful clean work. Well done
