Valves on a 94 RS 2.2 ?

Can you adjust the valves on a 94 2.2? If so can you just snug them down?

Hydraulic.Roller Lifters.Not adjustable.If they are clanking and rapping,you have worn or damaged lifters,worn cam,or just overall wear and tear.
