Stupid ass bullies, school is always the same... Everyday this week my little brother (hes 9yrs old) has been coming home telling me and my dad about this kid thats picking on him (hitting him, etc).
The kid isnt even that big/strong hes only about an inch bigger than my brother from what he tells me... I guess my dad finally told my brother not to take it anymore and hit him if he keeps hitting on him.
Reminds me a lot of when I was in elementary/high school... I told my brother if he hits him again to aim for his nose, and not stop till the kid is crying/bleeding... that will make the kid leave him alone for sure...
Things never change eh?

Yeah, mate, that will feel good for your bro, but what does it solve long term? NOTHING! The only way to beat bullies is to IGNORE them. As soon as you don't react and walk away, they lose interest. I learnt that the hard way.

There is but one solution for bullies. Grab a board with a nail in it and beat them until you cant recognize their face. Worked for me, I was feared through school and never caused problems and never had any more problems.

i don't know about ignoring them. it is easy to say but a lot harder to do. these are 9 y/o kids here, it wont work. i remember my father telling me that if anyone ever hit me (in a bullying manner) to hit them back ten fold. it was great advice but i don't think i have ever punched anyone in my life, sure i've been punched a couple of times but i never got into a fight.
but i would still tell my son or little brother to wail on anybody who thinks they can bully them around.

Most bullies are pansies and will cry when you make them bleed. We all got sick of this one bully and tied him up to the dumpster with a jump rope and banged the hell out of his head with the heavy metal lid. One of the teachers found him at like 5 pm after school had been out for several hours. He never gave any problems after that.

I think we are all bound to go thru a period in life (at least during school years) where we get bullied around. 7th grade was my bad year. I got mixed up with the wrong friend, and the minute she found a reason to be mad at me, she went telling everyone in the 6th-8th grades that I was talking sh!t about them. So on average of every other Friday (sometimes 2 fridays in a row :finger: ) I would get my ass kicked right after walking out of the classroom after the last bell would ring. It was such a common occurrance that the teachers usually walked by and didn't pay attention...pretty sad because this caused me to lose my faith (what little I had anyway) in our educational system. When my parents talked to the principal about what was going on his, his response was "well I have more bad kids here than good kids and I can't just bring in 20 kids into my office and try to tell them what they are doing is wrong." Yeah that was real encouraging. Then in not so many words he suggested that perhaps I was doing something to instigate all this. Whatever. Anyway, 8th grade went by smoother...I made it a point to not make any friends or talk to anyone...yeah it was a lonely year but I didn't get my ass beat that year either....actually the girl who caused me all the trouble the year before pissed off the wrong person and she got beat up worse than I did
The thing that sucked was I was so discouraged by the fact that the teachers/principal could care less what happened, it changed my attitude toward school. Rather than looking forward to new knowledge and maybe even learning something, I viewed it as a legal obligation because the law said I had to go to school....so as far as putting forth effort to make grades goes....I did just enough to pass and get out of there. I carried this attitude through high school too and did just enough to pass. Unfortunately I still see some of this attitude in my general life :( Do just enough to get by.....but I am trying to make some changes in that area so I don't end up a bitter old person. I guess you can say I had issues about school :p
Ok I am done babbling now.

ozriceboy: I knew someone would say the whole violence solves nothing thing... I know it doesn't, but sometimes its needed...
Katwoman: That sucks... and I thought my middle school years were bad :(
I told my brother flat out last night "Make him bleed and no one will bother you" I told him to aim for the nose and keep hitting him in the nose/mouth/eyes till the kid is crying...
I know hes only 9, but it seems like when you are in school and you haven't gotten into a fight, everyone messes with you... You just gotta fight back against one of them and the rest leave you alone...

So what if he's 9? I committed several egregious atrocities when I was 8.

There is a system to the violence.
First he must complain to his parents
Second he must complain to the teacher
Third he must complain to the principal
When (not if) all those fail, he may do as he wishes with this punk.
Executing the attack in this manner will absolve him of responsibility. He will have gone to as high an authority as possible, after each progressive step has failed and at their failure, he was forced to defend himself. This will hold up in a court of law, law enforcement will agree, and he will not be at fault.
Damn, I know way too much on this subject.

I think my dad already talked to one of the kids parents, and I think hes going to call the teacher today... *shrugs*
Its a very very tiny school, I'm sure the teacher knows whats going on...
Plus its summer school... so its not like it will matter if my brother gets booted out :P

To go 30 miles to summer school (which already sucks) and just get beaten up! Yeah Grendel?
I never really had such problems after one inciddent and I proved the pen is mighter than the sword.
I had a problem with this one kid in 7th grade, and I started makin friends with everyone in the shcool and became influential and popular pretty fast. So, being very influential, I started $hit and everything ceased immediately. I wasn't touched after that, since your status in high school is very important, and I controlled that status! :D
It was a panzi way to end the ordeal, but I used very weak, and the kid was a lot biger than me.
