i have a buddy who wants to do a swap in his 2000 neon.., it's auto and wants to go manual..., i just need the info on all the steps, and parts needed..thanks..

it is recomended to get a donnor car, otherwise it gets really expensive really fast.

honestly sell the auto and just buy a manual, it is lot less work and lots less expensive, the manuals are not easy to find but are worth looking for but that is just me i would sell it and get a manual then start doing mods to the engine and save some money in the process,

he can get to all the parts for next to nothing, which he already has done.., so he is going to start the swap soon..thanx:)

Hmm yeah I have to agree... I gotta 3.94 here, and I went to three different dealers before I got my car, and at least half of the Neons on all the lots were MTX's... gotta be a decent amount of junkyard surplus by now.
