another problem

same car, 79 cutlass w/a 305, now the rotor isnt spinning when I turn it over, when I checked a couple days ago it was fine, I took the distributor out today and replaced the pick up coil, put it back in and now it wont spin, I can spin it freely with my hand when the car is off. Any ideas people, thanks a bunch.

Either the dist gear is stripped or the roll pin sheared or some how you got the dist back in without engaging the cam ( not likely)
