don't think it's gonna work for road cars cos the whole large amounts of water thing is just gonna be inconvienient especially since you're gonna have to replace the water much regularly than radiator coolant, a lot of people are just fine with their radiators......but what do i know

Replace the water??? huh?
It's another tank like your gas tank, and I'm pretty sure the steam just gets pushed out the exhaust pipe with the burnt gasoline.

I think I know how he does it.

Jet-Lee: Exactly, you're gonna have to replace the water taken from the tank.

Although, I don't think it'll be inconvenient.

"Oh no! WHere the fuck am I going to find water at a gas station!!!"

But yeah, a bit impractical for cars, but a good idea for trucks & buses.

yea, but trucks and buses are now starting to use turbo-compounding for power. i dont think they'll start running buses with another tank for water, considering that trucks an buses use tanks of up to 600 litres. not good to carry two of them.

isn't BMW building a vehicle with a system similar to this already? I could have sworn I saw it in a car and driver or something, it's the german "hybrid", steam and gas/diesel, rather than electric and gas/diesel.
