I hope someone here can help........I've got a 91 4.3FI gmc jimmy that I can't get to start........It has had the fuel pump replaced and filter. The thing is when I go to start it, it's like it isn't getting any gas.Have checked the pump, and it turns on,no line leaks, and I am getting gas to the throttle body.......Any help and suggestions I can get is appreciated!

Since you (should)have a throttle body engine you should be able to (carefully) add a little fuel to it or use a very litttle starting fluid to see if it hits or runs. Might be a firing problem rather than a fuel problem too. The ignition module can fail and cause non starts. My 93's went about 15 months ago. thought it was fuel but the spark was random and weak. Should be inside your distributor. Can have it tested, or check for good blue spark on your plugs.

Yea check your spark, I had same issue with my 93 and I though it was fuel related but it turned out that the dist went bad in it.

make sure all your sensors are plugged in. even the temp sensor not being plugged in wont let the stupid thing run, that brain box is far more annoying on the tbi than what it's good for.
