kawasaki ninja

im thinking of getting this as my first bike, a 250cc. i know nothing about bikes, but ive heard people recommend kawasaki. any info on the bike? how reliable are they? im looking to get it so i can get to work and school and home, and its really just going to be a daily commuter. i cant find this bike used anywhere at all, so if i get it im going to save and get it brand new.

Please read the "sticky" threads at the top of the forum. There are several discussions of what actions to take, and preferable first bikes.

Also, don't be offended by my closing this thread. If you come up with something a little more specific like gear or questions about model years, I'll be glad to entertain those.
