Neutral Safety switch

I have a question. My backup lights don't work and I have troubleshot it down to the neutral safety switch on the side of the Tranny. But when I go to order it they keep trying to give me the wrong part # Any help would be great. Here's the part they are trying to give me which doesn't even fit the cannon plug.

I've had this problem with some vehicles (notably a 1981 Chrysler that had the 1980 model rear axle). In these cases, I pull the part and take it in to show them, making sure to have the matching piece before I leave.
