I want to get a wideband here soon, like this week. I only have $225 to spend. I want a good one perferable one that will mount in my guage pod. I noticed AEM has a 6-in-one wideband for $280 and a single channel for $200. What is the difference, I wasnt able to figure it out yet. Also if anyone knows of a good one in that price range let me know

AEM is definitely a good buy. I got mine from http://www.modernperformance.com for $274. I haven't really tried out the 6 features but I'm assuming they are good, lol. It's an extremely easy install and it is frigggin acurate as hell. Go AEM!!!

do you know what the 6 functions are and what the difference between that one and the other cheaper aem one is? I guess I can save up another $60 and splurge on the aem

for tuning and monitoring purposes would it be better to get a wide band or an egt guage?

wideband, you can monitor your fuel/air mixture through a wideband, where as an EGT is more like a warning guage, it'll telll you when you are running way to hot and to let off the damn gas.
