My 95 aurora has 150k on it, it stalls when i take my foot off the gas, the rpms drop real fast, so i always have to give it a lil gas to stay alive. Also sometimes when i take my foot off the gas, instead of the rpms dropping, sometimes the rps stay up, and the car continues to give it gas, even though my foot is off, and wont drop back down until I hit the break. Also, sometimes when I start my car back up, the RPM's jump up to 3000 without me hitting the gas. Anyone know what could cause this? And has this happened to anyone before?

sounds like fuel pressure regulator. not a very hard fix, actually probably tha easier fix for the aurora

is it something one could fix themselves with minor knowledge of cars without a guarge... ? and is there anything I can do to find out if that is the problem or not?

do you have a service engine light on?
I would suspect the Idle Speed Controller.

no the engine light is not on, but who knows how many people owned the car, and if someone cut the light or not. Maybe I can have autozone hook it up to the computer and find out

Idle speed control sounds likely as mentioned above. However, be sure to check all your vacuum lines; usually the PCV valve elbow rots out. Also, snug down the intake manifold too; use a 10mm deep socket over the engine cover studs.
Another possible is the mass airflow sensor; similar issues and sometimes will not set a code.
Do the cheap stuff first.
