As my title suggest this is a dificult question. Ok my car just started making a rattleling noise, but i cant find it.
It only happens when im accelerating not necesseraly hard just speeding up. If im cruising it doesnt make the sound either.
If im parked and accelerating no sound.:shakehead
Driving i put it in neutral and accelerate and again no sound.:banghead:
It seems to come from the front of the car and driver side.
Any ideas would be helpful.

If its a rattle it's probebly something with the exhaust, when its in neutral it's not under load, so it may not rattle, when its in gear, and your excellerating, then its under load. so if something is loose on the exhaust it will rattle. at a cruise there isnt much load(pressure), it may not rattle. it could be loose where the Y pipe connects to the manifold, or the converter could be bad, but only if its on the side the noise is comming from,
you can also check the heat sheilding on the manifold, may have came loose or is hitting something , not as likely though

Exhaust makes alot of sense now that you mention the load part i thought if i was accelerating there was always load in the exhaust wether in gear or not.... it cant be the converter cus i dont have any but i hope it has to do something with the exhaust it makes too much sense... Thanx alot guys
