idle issues with 1g

when starting the car sometimes my idle is at 600rmp like normal, sometimes when i start it up its at 2,000rpm...after driving it for a couple minutes and i come to a complete stop it will idle at anywhere from 600rpm to 2500rpm,, sometimes the car even stalls or acts like it wants to stall. I HAVE SEARCHED this issue but had nothing that could comply with the issues im having with my 1g GS N/t... im not sure where to start looking for why this could be happening,

also my engine light does not come on.

also i cleaned out the throttle body and everything looks fine, i also replace all vacum lines, and checked all of them for leaks,

Is your maf hacked?
You ever try to just adjust your biss screw?
Pcv valve been replaced(just a cheap precaution).?
Maintance been kept up on the car(probaby but just checking)?

i dont know how well it had been maintained i did alot of work to it since i got it last year, but when i got it, it was in okay shape, what should i check for?

do the egr valve block off and remove all those useless vaccum lines and that should help out alot it did with mine thats for sure
