92 T&C break lights stay on

The break lights on your 92 TC seem to have a tendency to stay on when stopping and shuting off the car you have to press the break peddle again to get them to turn off what can cause this?

Find the brake light switch on the back side of the brake pedal up toward the hinge point. Apply the brake and listen closely for two clicks, one as you apply and one as you release. If you don't hear a second click as you release the brake the switch is bad. Its really the only thing that could cause your problem.Let us know what you find please.

OK thanks I'll check it, BTW: I see a recall for some break pedal item on this model, wonder if that has anything to do with it? I'll ask the dealer when they fix my ABS which IS under recall
