Typical installation, needs pressing or grinding tools... My stupidity for repeated front bearing loss [peugeot] was worn caliper guides: sticking brakes warmed, fried the bearings. Lubricate guides, special brake grease for piston, make sure guides slide easily... check http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/18

As far as replacing the bearing , you need to take the whole Knuckle assy Off, If you feel you can do that then take it to a shop it have the hub pressed out and the bearing . New bearing pressed in and hub repressed in.
There are 2 pieces that are pressed into the knuckle the hub and the bearing
If the bearing is making alot of noise it is possable you could damage the hub also.
