Door Trim 88 CRX

Whats up guys, i just bought a 88 CRX and its got a few parts missing so i was using ebay to replace them cause i cant find them anywhere else. I ordered the trim/moulding from an 89 Si and it wont fit my 88, its almost twice as fat. but i was under the impression that 88-89 were the same and 90-91 was the same, is it because its from an Si or am I mistaken that the 88 and 89 are the same?

89 was a crossover year, some was the same, some was differnt.

If your referring to the trim piece between the rear quarter window and the door glass, its probably because your car has door mounted belts and the car it came off of has pillar mounted...the pillar was wider because of this and the glass is also shorter..

Its got some minor frame damage and ive since replaced the hood and fenders so it looks a little better but still needs a lot of work. and the paint will be gone soon, just bought a nice new sander. :sunglasse

Good news is I got a hood, fenders, front and rear bumper, headlights, corner lights, mudflaps (not using), and a box of hoses and other assorted parts all in excellent condition for 21.00 :evillol: on ebay, the got a new passenger side door, hood hinges, and driver side door hinges for 27.00 :) . needless to say it looks 1000 times better now. and im so under budget I bought some new racing pedals, steering wheel, shift knob, ebrake handle and carpeting, and pretty soon a b18 swap :evillol: . Thanks for looking guys.
