PGM-FI stands for ProGraMmed Fuel Injection. The PGM-FI light is basically a check engine light, which can mean quite a few things.

You will need to get your ECU scanned to find the problem code which will narrow down the problem. If you have a '96+ car, most Autozones will scan your ECU for free. If not, you can scan it yourself.
