what other vehicals use this engine? 3.4 -99 alero

The Pontiac Grand Am and the 2000 and up Chevy Impala to name a few use the 3.4L V6.

Also the Monte Carlo.

The Malibu 97-2003 does not use the 3.4L V6.

The 97-1999 us the 3.1L V6 with 155 HP. 2000-2003 use the 3.1L, but it was upgradded with 170 HP. Years 97-99 have the option of the 2.4L I4 also.

All GM mini vans (Montana, Venture, and the Olds version) use the 3.4L V6.

Other vehicles are the Impala, Grand Prix prior to 2004, Intigue, Monte Carlo and a Buick or two.

BTW - To the best of my knowledge Buicks have never used the 3.4L only the 3.1L V6 like in the Century. Same for the Grand Prix, 3.1L Vin "M". Older Grand Prixs 1996 and under used DOHC version of a 3.4 but not the same as the one we are talking about. Intrigues used only the Series II 3800 or the 3.5L V6 "Shortstar".
