Someone please tell me if a window bag is a must investment. I noticed this particular one on the "Quadratec" website that states I can removed the zip in windows, roll them up, and take them with me. I think this would be a good idea esp if you are traveling and unsure what the weather will be like. Here's Quadratecs add below:

Thanks

Clover Patch™ Window Roll for 87-06 Jeep Wrangler YJ, TJ & Unlimited
Simply zip out your three rear windows and insert them into the Window Roll's "book" of soft felt pages. Just roll the felt book into a tube-like shape and slip on the durable nylon storage sleeve. Works with al Wrangler soft tops with zip-out windows. Now the Window Roll simply straps to the roll bar and tucks behind the rear seat and out of the way. Keeps those scratch-prone windows looking new.

Can't hurt, but remember that if your windows have dirt/grit/etc on them, they'll get scratched no matter where you put them.

Aside from that, can't hurt to have a protective bag.

Thanks Fred, I figured as much. I'd like to purchase the things that I need before I purchase the things that I want :) Can you also give me some info on lubricant for the window zippers.

As long as you take care of your windows you should be okay without one. The bag is just another extra measure you can take to ensure the lifespan of the OEM windows before you feel the need to replace them. I don't have one, but I never roll up my windows and when they are out I try to keep them in the garage as much as possible.

Zipper lubricant....you can buy the Mopar stuff, or something similar from the auto parts store. I think it's silicon based. I've found that if you keep the top clean, you have much less need for the lube.
