hey guys, i just won an Unorthodox underdrive pulley off ebay, and i was wondering since the pulley is smaller, can I use the stock sized belts? i have previously just bought all of the belts so this would suck. do i need smaller belts, or can I jus tension the tensioners?

if i were you, i would just buy the lightweigh 3SX pulley from www.3sxperformance.com
This way, you will free up power from a lighter pulley without underdriving all of your accessories.

underdriven accessories = good it keeps bearings in them and you don't need them at full speed anyway

underdriving doesn't help bearings. If anything, I have always heard that switching from the stock harmonic balancer is worse, but yet, i have yet to see proof of this. Underdriving the accessories will dim your lights, keep your a/c from working as good, and reduce performance on your stereo, especially if your into putting a system in your car. If you could care less about any of that, then sure, get the underdrive, but why sacrifice all of that to maybe gain half a horsepower, if that.

Well to counteract the reduced electrical production, i also bought the SFR Overdirve alternator pulley, which is also smaller then the stock alt. pulley and is made of aluminum so it also free's up rotating pulley mass. SFR ses the alternator will produce more then stock. 3SI had a group buy on them
