Well you guys may remember I was kicking around the supercharger idea for a while but I've kinda been wanting to go NA now. What is a good head/cam package for a daily driver? I have a 1997 Formula WS.6 and I want to bump it up to about 360-380 rwhp. I want a good set of heads and a cam that lopes pretty good. I looked at buying the lt4 hotcam kit since it's a whole set and it has 1.6 RRs with it and some lt4 heads. Or, I was thinking about doing an lt4 top end setup which would be the whole deal (intake, heads, cam, timing chain). I've heard that the timing chain is important to change cause the lt1 one will blow anyway. True? Anyway, will this achieve my goal of about 375 rwhp? Or are there better head/cam combos for this?

To get up to the 375rwhp mark you are shooting for, you may have to look a bit more than just a package like the ones you mentioned. Maybe look more into some great flowing aluminum ones, dart, edelbrock, holley, brodix, etc. Something in the expensive part of jegs, then give'm a call and ask them to recomend a cam. I hate to say it, but that much power is going to cost a lot. a guy on this forum. Mr. Luos has about 330 rwhp and his car is built, so if he chimes in here he can give you a better heads up on this issue, good luck.

Right before I took the LS1 out it made 376.8 RWHP.
22.5 MPG around town. Not much surging from the cam either.
Would have been a decent daily driver all things considered.
Harder to do with the LT1 though. Heads are a good start. The stock ones are pretty restrictive.
