Engine Swap to a 3.1 instead?

If I were to put in a 3.1L V6 from a '93 Chev Cavalier into my '91 Chev Tracker, would I need to upgrade things such as the differential? Transfer case? Transmission? I've been waiting on help for this for a little while. Can someone give me some advice here?
