I have a 95 cavy with 88000miles on it.
This is the second time this happend to me. IT happend exactly the same way the first time did, when I come to a stop my car just stalled. I have to start it up a couple of times and finally I can go.
Help me solve this, would it be a throttle tip sensor? I already replaced the fuel filter when it happend the first time and cant beleive it happend again. I even sprayed throttle body cleaner.

I had the same problem with my 1991 cavalier. My car's stalling problem was fixed by replacing the ignition control module. Hope that helps.

I might be able to help you with this, all you have to do is tell me a little more about what is going on at the time of the stall. How long had you been driving? Was the car up to operating temp? Automatic or manual tranny? Which engine?

sounds like a tps or the crankshaft sensor. when it goes bad it swells and looses its place on the crank. once it cools it will run but after a little driving and it swells back up it will stall again
