I have a nissan 89 skyline sedan and it has a problem that noone can seem to work out. when i have been driving it for a while and it gets warm it will just die once the rev's get below 1 1/2 if you put your foot down it will just splutter and then stall. then it will not start again for a minute, it sounds like its flooding almost and is very fumey. then after a couple of minutes it will start again , drive fine for a little while then do it it again. it first happened about 6 months ago didint do it for 4 or 5 months and then has started doing it again. i have been told it could be my immobiliser?

check your gap on your spark plugs cause i had a similiar problem and i closed the gap to .75 mm. and run a colder spark plug as turbos run pretty hot

It is a non turbo 89 (R31)Skyline so it would either be the crank angle sensor or air flow meter, which are common problems for these engines.

I got a Skyline R33 GTS-T I was driving from home and the turbo was fine. When returning home the turbo didn't kick in basicaly It was like driving a non turbo skyline. Would any1 know what the problem would be?

yasfir: Check that you do not have a boost leak. Also check the turbo has not been over 12psi
