?????]\

I have an idea, PM NOOBS OF RULES... like where to post and everything, it is so simple, kinda. They have to open the PM before they post =) what do you think?

It's worth a shot anyways, what if noobs had to take a very short 10 question survey that would place each noob into a specific catagory where a certain amount of searches would need to be performed in order to ask a question? Just my 2 cents.

Some of us newbies acually read before posting. Ive been reading these forums for a damn long time but only recently registered to search. I just dont comment to often if i have nothing constructive to say. To adress the issue of other newbies not reading rules, there is really no way to completly prevent it. IMO, i would not read a 15pg contract and answer questions to register.

Hmmm, good points I guess, IT was just a thought, oh well, this thread is closed, don't get me wrong, I know some noobs read the shit, and I thank you.

What about doing something like tuners where you have to be a proven member to post in some areas

For any of those to work it would have to be a rule for all of af and for that to happen you should post in the suggestions placey.

I don't like that part of tuners. If you accidentally make a wrong comment, they take away mad points and it's stupid. I've been on tuners for a long time and i'm still on thin ice with fucking -10 rep. points, I think it's pathetic. I mean don't get me wrong, I find tuners very informational, but I don't like how it's SO damn serious, that's why I come here more often and then check tuners if I can't find what I'm looking for here.

I know what you mean, I'm not a huge fan of how serious they run things either but with the way some noobs are acting and how many are joining I can see why they do things like that

:iagree: That is the reason I have been a member on there for over a year and have zero posts!! I don't have anything Noobish to say, and don't really have any questions to ask that can't be answered by searching.
