Peeling rubber sill

I haven't driven my car for a week because I was sick and today when I got in, I noticed the rubber "window sill" located above the chrome, but below the window on my driver's door was lifted back. Has this ever happened to anyone with no forwarning? It seems like if I got gorilla glue or something like it I could glue it back down. Any suggestions?

I have the same "issue" with mine. You can glue it back but you might be better off replacing it. I've heard it is pretty cheap and easy to do. Mine looks like it has shrunk a bit and may not go back into place so easily. It's on my "to Do" list.

I just broke off the dried peeling sections, and then carefully cut to fit a coupole of peices of electrical tape (the entire length, not just the broken sections) and its been fine ever since, it stays on perfectly and looks great up close and from a distance, it even withstands extreme sunlight without drying out, I live in florida this time of the year.
