hey ya'll my trans has no 1st and 3rd, no tach, no speedo, and no gear indicator. please help i changed both shift solenoids. i don't know what else to look for any help would be greatly appreciated!

forgot to tell you that it doesn't do this all the time but it is starting to happen more often. when i changed the shift solenoids i thought that would help but it didn't. thanks again!

And this is what year/vehicle? Any trans codes?

95 z-71 don't have a way to check codes -- now it is doing fine -- i wonder if it might be the ignition switch-

i got the same problem with my 94 pick up , no speedo ,no heater no gear shift and start and stay in second gear. It was 20$ part, the ignition switch on top of colum stearing was burn, it cut the power to the trany. i was very happy it cost only 20$ from the chevrolet dealer ,i change it myself,very easy. good luck

thanks for the reply back. i tried it again and it it still working. if it messes up again i will change the ignition switch

I believe I have the same problem with mine as well!

Could anyone who has changed the ignition switch out give me (or all of us on here) detailed instructions on how change the switch out?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
