hi again, got the issue fixed with the grinding under the hood, now i'm back with another question.. on the 97 gtp it has 139k miles on the clock and the service engine soon light came on, question is this, what all is envolved with servicing the engine and getting the light out? is it more involved then just plugs wires etc? and how do i get the light out once i'm done with the service? i've only had the car since november and i haven't done any work on it until lately..

If the SES light is staying on get it scanned. Autozone will do it for free. Be sure to record or get a printout of the DTC error codes from them. Normally after corrective action the SES light is reset with the odb-ii scanner.
