need help with headlights..

i bought pair of head lights for my 1998 max..
well it seems that one is clearer then the other , looks like one has some dust inside of the light, so i want to clean it up, so i took those metalic clips from the glass frame , but that's is all , it will not come off..

can some one help me out ? how do you take off the glass from the headlight ?

one of the headlights on my 97 is like that, ya could try and heat it up and pull it apart, if u have any luck post it cuz i would like to get rid of that ugly shit too :D

Don't take it apart. Just fill it up with some soapy water, swish it around in there really good. Rinse it really good, try to get as much of the water out as possible. Then just sit it over night, upside down and it will dry nicely. You can also use a hair dryer and blow hot air into the lense for about 20 minutes to speed up the dry time.

i kno im prob jus missin a screw or somethin, but how do ya get the headlight out?

I've got a brand new left 1998 Headlight lens if you want it CHEAP....I needed the bracket behind the light but you have to buy the whole thing...I separated it and used my old headlight .....by the way I had to rinse it out with soapy water too...but I also used a paper towel on a pencil through the headlight hole and let it dry.

I also want a sulution for my head lights, I dont know if the shit in my headlight is " cleanable " or not, caue it looks like small small dots everywhere in the head lights, I live in a dusty area full of deserts n highways, what do you think that is??

and how can I take the head light off the car so I can clean it ?
