recirculating hose replacement???

okay long story short.

I got a full upper innercooler pipe and a greddy type RS installed the other day. I tryed to vent. failed. i stall out striaght up. boom stall. would tighten up the bov adjustment help this?

well because it's a aftermarket pipe, bov, and intake pipe (injen) the stock hose doesn't reach. its just like 1 or 2 inches too short. so to stock from stalling i had to find a hose to fit. i ended up using some radiator hose. and now i don't stall.

the problem is raidator hose is pretty solid stuff, and now i can't hear the bov for ****. i mean its probably 80% of what it was stock. I feel like i wasted a bunch of time and money, and didn't even get any sound. what direction of adjusting would be best? hard or soft? i really have no idea how to adjust the bov. a link to a guide would be great.

i was wondering if anyone has any ideas on something else to use for the hose? something thinner? should i try home depo? any ideas, thoughts, or suggestions would be helpful.

Here's what I don't get... Everyones cars stall on them and don't run right when they vent atmosphere. Before mine CW'd I put my RFL on it and blew atmosphere and never had a single problem with my car wanting to stall or anything... I'd say go with a gm maft and sensor so you can vent atmosphere properly and hear all that money each time you shift. :)

You don't need to hear it to know it's performing better than stock. However, if you really want to hear it, do what clipsekid did and build a metal recirculating tube. The air bounces off the tube and resonates. Until you can get the tubes made, tightening the BOV will help, and over time your ECU will get used to it (it's still harmful though, and you'll always feel the effects) Tighten the bov half turn by half turn until you hear it "flutter" during mid-boost. Then loosen it a bit until the sound goes away.
