chassis styles

so i read somewhere that the chassis on a monte carlo are pretty much just the same as on a grand prix and you can get some of the same body kits or something and whatnot? just curious to know if thats true or not.. if so im sure its just the same for only the 2 door GP's since all monte carlos are 2 door as well.

Mechanically, the two are virtually identical if similarly equipped. The base model Monte's used the 3.4, where the SE GP's used the 3.1, so there are differences of course. The chassis and brakes are identical, but the body styles are very different (no interchangablity on doors, glass, headlight asemblies, etc...), so body kits for a Monte will not fit a GP.

yeah i definetly figured that, no way those parts could fit each other... those people on the other site just dont seem like they know what they are talking about sometimes... and they are definetly not as friendly as here either.... geuss cause its myspace, im definetly just gonna stick to this site for help and questions.
