I was under the impression that this was going to be the new R35 body style...

(the following was borrowed from http://www.gtr.co.uk/ )
The all-new R35 Skyline GT-R will use a 3.5-litre V8 engine that will produce around 400ps. This engine will be a variant of the unit used in the Nissan R390 GT 1 Le Mans car.
With a 0-60mph of under 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 170mph, the R35 will rival Porche's new 966 Turbo, The new BMW M5 and the forthcoming V8-powered Honda NSX.
Can anyone verify if this is true?

I believe that those pictures were dismissed as "artists' renditions." It's been announced in Japan the the next Skyline will be XVL based. No real word about the next GT-R, though.

Understandably the top pic is a photoshopped version of the middle pic, but damn the bottom 2 sure do look real, maybe Nissan will totally surprise everyone with something even more bad ass than the r34, but for now, I will just continue to work my ass off so i can get my r34 in the states...:bandit:

If they do go with that style i think i will miss the more boxer muscle look it stood out and just had a mean stance, this seem more slim and like they were going for a european sleek look. Although the look will probably be more aerodynamic and creates less drag on the car it just doesnt seem the same to me id still hunt for and R34.:bloated:
