My wife's car has about 85k miles on it. It runs great and uses no oil. We have changed the oil every 4k miles since new. It does have a rough idle and some carbon buildup in the motor. You can see some carbon thru the filler cap and pcv oriface. I am a little scared to do the seafoam because of sensors and possibly blowing something down in the motor thats worse than the carbon where it is at. What do yall think? Also, if I do it, where exactly is the best place to inject it on the 3.1 v6? The pcv valve looks like it would just dump it on that one side of the motor. I want to make sure I get all the cylinders clean. Thanks in advance... Pics of the line to inject would be great. You can also email me at [email protected].

I do it to my Silverado all the time. It works great. I pull the brake booster line off and run it through there. You could also have off the air inlet too.

No probelms using Seafoam in my '01 model. About every 6 oil changes. Proir to a scheduled change, I drain approx 1 pint of oil and replace it with 1 pint of Seafoam directly in the oil filler. I drive it about 200 miles, then do my normal oil change.
