Evo VIII vs. S2000

I don't know what the S2K had done to it, but it was lowered with aftermarket rims and a set of huge twin titanium blue tips. I had an earpiece on and was talking on the cell as the driver of the S2K was trying to get my attention...first on my left and then on my right. So I decided to oblige the eager beaver. I had my boss on the line and I told him it's about to get loud. He's like "you found a what?". Haha. Deaf bastard. I don't think the other driver thought I would run him because it was about 5 minutes from when I first saw him until I first made eye contact with him. He gave me a thumbs up and then just took off. I was in 5th at about 3.2K RPM's and caught up pretty quick. His car was making a lot of noise but wasn't really going anywhere. Maybe his Vtech was broken.

So now he wants to run again. He gives me a big smile and motions for 1 more time. We're sorta just cruising at about 65mph. I'm in 4th doing about 4k RPM's. He honks down and...well...it was tie before that 3rd honk. :disappoin

I never got out of 4th gear. I put a ginormous bus length on him before 100mph and then shut it down and shifted to 5th. He came flying by on my right holding his middle finger out the window. I don't get it. WTF. :screwy:

My power mods are 3" TBE, JDM MR BOV, EcuTek flash and dyno-tune. Should be good for 300whp/315wtq on a dynojet.

See that is the kind of sh*t that really pisses me off. A guy wants to race you...which is fine...then once you beat him has to have an attitude about losing. People who want to go out and start fights and crap about racing need to get a life. Its all about your own car and you fighting to beat your own time. Ugh...anyway...nice kill...sounds like you got a pretty nice ride there. I guess you didnt have to worry about him being a tool cause you smoked his ass...haha. God I hate racers with attitudes.

Dude, I'm not getting defensive because he beat another Honda. I simply don't think S2000s are any kind of special thing unless they have F/I of some kind.

I believe I ran an S2000 at Speedway in my former Evo. I murdered it pretty bad, but then his car just didn't run all that quick outta the hole.

Stock for stock it would have been a good race, but it's no secret that the Evo is much easier to mod than the S2000.
