Looking to buy a 5" tach, in ANY condition

Like the subject says I'm looking to buy a tachometer in ANY condition, new used, broken, doesn't matter as long as it's not in pieces lol

Yes it doesnt matter if it's broken or not, i wont be using it as an actual tach, and i tried ebay and the cheapest one is $50, im not sure i want to spend that much on something i'm not gonna use for the right purpose.

maybe it's time for me to just come out and say what my plans were with the tach since im no longer going to do, nor could i before because the tach wouldnt be big enough

So what was the tach going to be for?

You guys are gonna think I'm retarded but, it was going to be for my white 2.2l, I was going for a show car, thus the engine bay that was all prettied up and the lambo doors and what not, So one day I got to thinking and I was trying to think of different things to earn more points, So I thought about gutting out the biggest 5" tach I could find, or any for that matter, sealing all the cracks and all that, and turning it into a Beta fighting fish tank. Used strictly for shows of course, but I know now that I wouldnt be able to find a big enough tach without feeling bad about the limited space for the poor fish lol I saw some pics of a Jetta that had Beta fish tanks in the headlights, maybe that was it. Oh well, don't knock me for thinking outside the box :lol:

Actually not a bad idea. I got an old G4 or G3 apple case turned into a fish tank. :P Sadly, it has no fish since I bought this house.

well i forgot my digital camera at home after being up all night tearing apart a turbo setup 2 times and having to rebuild it till 5:45am after we blew apart a flange between the turbo and exhaust manifold, then a 45min drive home from RDFABS shop and had to be at the show at 7:30am. My mind was not all there...

I am waiting for some of my other buddies who went to the show to host their pics up and then i will put them up here for you guys. I'll give you a teaser now tho...

Its entire interrior is done with jaguar/leppard felt or something, then exterrior had vinyl strips that the cats have and they she had stuff animals on the car with fake blood on the bumper and windsheild..

but those pics are pretty cool. that hood on the vette is pretty sick!! man im a big fan of those rims on your cavy. i think i like them so much because of the lip they have. i really didnt like that car with the leapord interior. :disappoin animal skin went out a longggggggg as time ago :lol:

I left the show at 3pm.. 1/2 way home sped to out run a severe storm that left the fair grounds like that.. I made it home and car into the garage with only a couple sprinkles on my car...

Haha maaannn I would like to boost the chick next to tha the sunfire, hear what kinda scream that makes... hahah but back to reality, the cars really look nice. I like the sunfire wheels, mostly cuz they remind me of mine. oh, and urs are good too.... =D
