How tight is the security on your school?

My HS has about 20 security guards on duty everyday. One time last year there were threats to have a riot the next day, so Dallas PD Van and SWAT van were chillin outside the school the next day.

We have drug/weapon sniffing dogs and portable metal detectors used every so often.

Homie don't play that bomb threat bullshit.

just the other day our school got a gun threat from some psycho kid on the bus. some people were taken out of school and everything. kid is currently suspended till he gets some help

any kinda threat should always be taken seriously. otherwise we couldve had a colombine incident here..

im serious. but after the Cole bombing, my school in Naples had MP's all over and snipers hidden etc. That also happened when we had the occasional protest in front of the base gates. had to drive 20mins around the base to a hidden back gate. bleh!

heck, we had a kid in the building with a bomb and a gun holding a counselor hostage once, but none of us knew till later. just pulled the fire alarm and we all walked out calmly. then, my stupid ex's brother threaten to blow up the school. whole family was forced to move.

In terms of square feet, I go to the 2nd largest high school in America.

Duncanville High School, check it out sometime, not sure how many updated pics there is.

Couple of quick facts, our baseball field was rated 2nd best high school stadium in Texas. Recently we had a security fence built around the whole school, I think it ran us like $350k, no shit.

As of 2005 Duncanville High School students are required to wear school uniforms; all Duncanville ISD schools adopted school uniforms in fall 2005.

Shirts, turtlenecks, sweaters, and blouses may be solid Black, Navy, White, or Tan Khaki. Shirts must be polo shirts, oxford shirts, or turtlenecks. Trousers, skirts, jumpers, and dresses may be Navy or Tan Khaki.

Yea Duncanville is a decent sized city, not small, but not big. Its just south of Dallas so we hail in comparison to that city.

The high school campus is the second-largest in the nation and enrolls approximately 2,500 students annually (five times the state average).

With the exception of softball the school (nickname Panthers) has won state titles in every major team sport. Its most notable success has been in girls' basketball where it has won six state titles, including three consecutive from 1988-1990 while winning a state record 134 consecutive games.

In May 2005, the school's athletic program was ranked #24 in the nation by Sports Illustrated out of over 38,000 other high schools surveyed in the United States.

Yea the dress code is bullshit, but alot of Dallas schools have them now.

I almost like it cuz I don't have worry about what I wear and I can get away with wearing the same shit 2 days in a row. Yay.

We had 2,600 on about an acre or two, at the most. Across town had 3,000 on a smaller campus. We had 2 pigs per campus.
