wheel bearings 4wd s-10 1994

hi i am in the process of changing ball joints on s-10. the one problem that i have encountered is in the area of the hub and wheel bearings. does anyone have a clue if the inner race floats on the hub or is it a slight press fit? there seem to be some scouring marks both on the id of the race and the hub.light polishing with crocus cloth has failed to give a slip fit.

all two wheel cars and trucks would be a slip fit with a light coating of grease

if i have disassembled an assembly that is not to be touched then my reassembly has to be in a different order. any help on this matter?
