2001 XLT Ranger Drivebelt squealing

I'm sure many of you Ranger people out there have had this problem at some point in time. I just ordered from the Ford Dealer Parts Dept. the drive belt or serpantine belt for my 01 Ranger XLT 4x4. It was so easy. I put a socket on the auto-tension wheel or pully and put just enough pressure on it to free and wiggle the belt off all of the pully wheels. To get the new belt on I simply followed the 3.0 ltr-6 cyl diagram under the hood and basically reversed the removal sequence. Okay, so the job is done and several days later the new FORD belt begins to squeal. I have checked the belt for proper alignment on all the pullies and everything is good. The manual states that there is no need to tighten the belt due to the auto-tension wheel. It normally takes 10 or 15 minutes of driving in the morning before it begins to squeal. The morning temp here in the Boston area is now 30-40 degrees if that helps.

I'm open to all suggestions.

Thanks.

Well I have a 01 4.0 XLT I was driving threw some rain puddles amd I notice the next days it made that same noise but would go away after driving it. I went to the auto part store and got a can of belt degreaseer. I have not replace the belt I followed the directions and no more noise. I does not spray rite on the belt more like it goes on the pullys its self well how this works for you like it did for me!
