90 corolla -=no start =-

now i have a 92 tercel , 5 speed with 140,000 miles.with the same problem. when i turn the key i get nothing.flat zero!! then after about 5 or 10 trys it fires up instantly. any advise will be appreciated. thanks.

now i have a 92 tercel , 5 speed with 140,000 miles.with the same problem. when i turn the key i get nothing.flat zero!! then after about 5 or 10 trys it fires up instantly. any advise will be appreciated. thanks.it is a paseo! problem solved. it was the sfaety switch to do with pushing the clutch pedal while trying to start. mechanic looped it(by-passed it). now it starts great.
