I'm trying to sell my current car to buy a WRX but i do have a few questions first.
Does anyone know if I can get leather installed from the factory?
Also...this 22b that everyone talks about....is that version available here in the US? It's a modified WRX right?
I also don't know what color to buy....
My friend has a blue one...and his girlfriend has a silver one....i've always wanted the blue one...would it be wrong of me to get the blue one or do i have to settle for a white or black? What should I do?
THANKS :D

First off, about the color... It's your car, your going to spend 23K+ on it, get it whatever damn color you want :D :D
Now about the factory leather, I don't know for sure but I'd venture to say no you can't.
The 22B isn't scheduled for sale any time in the future as far as I know. The STi is comming next year I think. Basicaly they are just WRXs in higher states of tune.
The 22B sports an EJ22 STi engine tuned to produce 280ps@6,000rpm as aposed to the EJ20 of the WRX producing 217ps@4,000rpm. The 22b is also a tad lighter at 3402lbs compared to the WRX's 3085lbs. It's a bit thinner with a 99.2" wheelbase were the WRX is 99.4"
Lets see. It's lower, 5.5" min ground clearence the WRX requires 6.1".
It's also got Closed deck engine block, Forged pistons, Intercooler water spray, Bilstein dampers, Driver control center diff, Twin-plate ceramic clutch, 17-inch BBS alloy wheels, Pirelli P-Zero tyres(235/40ZR17 vs WRX's 215/45R17 Potenzas), Hand-welded blisters, and a WRC replica rear spoiler.
Hope that answered your questions :)

it doesn't come with leather from the factory, just a sort of cheap looking felt material. i had mine replaced at the dealership with leather. its extremely high quality and i think most big subaru dealerships offer this as an option. Mine is two tone silver/charcoal to match the dash color and exterior paint color and has a black WRX logo embroidered on the headrest. I've even seen some WRX's with black and yellow interior in a black car and it still looks quite nice. As far as paint, I almost got World Rally blue paint but it wasn't really a metallic flavor of blue and in the sun the silver's flake really stood out.
As for the 22b as far as i know it isn't avail domestically. STi hasn't been officially announced but i've heard rumors about first quarter 2003. For the money though a regular WRX is a good deal.
