Hey all, been lurking awhile and reading, I just bought a 91 with 110K for $200. Runs like a champ and everything works, well except the drivers side window:lol: . I filled it up and got 230 miles out of 1 tank. Where should I start looking/replacing/troubleshooting to fix this problem? As soon as I bought I replaced the plugs and plug wires. I appreciate anyones constructive input and time!

Is your '91 a 5-spd or auto?
How many gallons fit in your tank when you thought it was 'empty' (or did you run it dry to test the range)?
When my '96 is almost to 'empty' on the guage, I'll be lucky if I can squeeze 7 gal. into the 10 gal tank. I haven't yet been curious enough to push the limit...

i used to own a 91' and it has an 11 gallon tank i beleive but i noticed that the fuel gauge had a problem with telling the right fuel amount (seems to be common) your best bet is to probably clean the carburator and air filter also
try the cap and rotor and fuel filter that should help a bit you should be getting around 40 mpg thats what mine did and i beat the crap out of it (they never die!) hope that helps good luck :)
