I have a 2000 chevy sub with the 5.3. It has been sputtering or misfiring at about 1.5 to 2.0 rpms when I am going up hills. If anybody has any info I would sure appreciate it. Thanks

I bought it used about a month ago and it has 75000 miles on it. I am not sure about the maintenence history on it. I just replaced the plugs could that cause it. thanks

What brand of spark plugs did you put in it? If you have not changed the gas filter do that as well.

I bought some Bosch Paltinum plugs and I need to get the fuel filter done. I noticed that when I am going up a hill and the RPMs jump up to 2.5 to 3.0 it won't missfire-sputter any more, any ideas! Thanks

I would start by taking thouse Bosch plugs and throwing them as far as you can and put some ac's back in it. I have seen bosch plugs cause more problems than they are worth. I am sure that there are a few guys in the forum that will agree with me on that. Replace the fuel filter also.
