i was driving back home in the rain, and i think the intake sucked up some water, the car started bogging and felt like it was leaning out, but the a/f gauge never leaned out. i made it all the way back home and i saw a lot of white smoke from my exhasut. i dont think it busted the rings or anything because theres still oil on the dip stick do it could be whats left of the water? now my car wont start. i checked all 4 spark plugs and none of them spark. what can i check to fix it? or what else could it be?

Try this, have one of your friends try to start the car, while the motor is turning over pull your plug wire off the spark plug and hold the tip of it next to the valve cover at an angle. if it sparks then your plugs are bad, if it doesnt spark then theres something bad in your distributor, coil, cap, or rotor button... but if you did get water on your air filter your car a/f ratio might have richend and caused the plugs to foul...

ok, tried that, theres still no spark. How do I check all the other ignition parts to see if they're working?

did you check all your wires?
ohm all your wires and post all the resistance up.
