Has anyone purchased Silverstar fog light bulbs? I was going to try them but didn't want to spend the extra $ if they weren't that big of an upgrade.

I've tried the Silverstar headlamps, but not the fogs. If they're as nice as the headlamps, you'll be pleased.

i have silverstar headlights and fogs...i was only going to do the headlights, but it didn't look right with whitish headlights and yellow fogs, so i replaced the fogs w/ silverstars as well...i didn't notice a WHOLE LOT more light output w/ the s/s fogs, but it looks 100x better...

I had s/s headlights in my 95 S-10 and they were awesome. But the headlights in my GP seem great as they are, is there a big diff. in the GP's using Silverstart headlights?

Those of you that are running S/S', how long do they last? I've heard of some people having them burn out in a few months. 3-5 years of life would be justifiable, but if they only last no longer than a year or so, I don't know that $30+ for the lights is really worth it.

well i've only had them in my GP for a month or two, but had them in a couple of my mustangs, one for almost 3 years (heads and fogs) and i've NEVER had one burn out...just don't touch the glass with your fingers, as this seems to drastically reduce the life of the bulb...

I bought my s/s's back in...jan/feb, aware of some complaints that they don't last very long. We're almost into April and I've had no problems. I drive at night with the lamps/fogs on, and actually rarely use my high beams - I'm very pleased with them.
