LED Tut...

Well I took like 5 minutes and drew up a small tut on LED's.. I had to use 8 on the underglow for the magnum.. You have to run them in a series of 4.. running them in a series of 4 distributes the power evenly between the LED's so they arnt over powered causing them to burn out and smell really bad when they do. if any more than 4 are added to the series they will be under powered and not be bright.. This is how I ran it up.. ( but I have to wires comming off the switch for 2 series of 4 for the underglow)
Hope this helps
Ok I did not realize that the picture was so small.. the rectangel thing is a 9v batterie.. the wire comming off with the little box is the on off switch comming from the possitive leg of the batterie, then that is ran to the positive of the first LED, and the negitive of that LED is ran to the positive of the next LED ( do that for 4 LED's) and then run the last LED negitive to the negitive lead on the batterie.. sorry guys

so you dont need a transistor or resistor or whatever it is?

nope.. not if you wire them in a circut of 4. it lowers the 9vs down to distribute it evenly through the 4.. if you use less.. it will be over powered and probably burn them out after a short period of time.. or if there is more than 4 they will be under powered causing them to be really dull. You can run multiple circuts of 4 off one 9v batterie.. I have 2 circuts of 4 for the underglow on the magnum
